Remote Service FAQ

What are your hours of operation?

Monday to Friday from 8:30 – 6:00 and Saturday from 10:00 – 4:00.

Is it difficult to get connected?

No, it’s easy. We will walk you through a simple setup in order for us to get connected. After that you can go about your business as we fix your computer.

Is it safe?

Yes. The type of access we have is one time only. Once the session is finished we have no further access to your computer without your permission.

Can you see me during a remote session?

No.

Can I watch what you are doing?

Yes, everything we do will be visible on your screen. Some people like to watch. Others like to go about their business until we are done.

How long does it take to get setup?

About 5 – 10 minutes. And if you call again in the future it is even faster.

What if you can’t fix it… will I still get charged?

We will generally know within 15 minutes if we can fix the problem or not. If we cannot, we will recommend to either drop off the computer for repair at our shop or to schedule an onsite visit. If this is accepted then any remote service charges are waived.

How much does it cost?

The minimum charge for a remote session is $30 + tax. This covers your first 15 minutes. Regular hourly rates apply after that. Please call for current rates.
